Harris Academies
All Academies in our Federation aim to transform the lives of the students they serve by bringing about rapid improvement in examination results, personal development and aspiration.

Uniform

uniform-board

Students in Years 7 – 11 wear a uniform and our sixth formers wear smart business dress.

Our uniform is smart and tidy.  The main colours, black and moss green, were chosen by students.  Our logo/crest was designed by them too, as part of an art competition.

In addition to the standard items of uniform:

  • Students should wear a white shirt with black trousers (girls can either wear a plain black skirt or trousers);
  • All students will need to wear black shoes: they must be plain black and look nothing like trainers;
  • No jewellery is to be worn at all. However, parents and carers of students wishing to jewellery for religious reasons should write to the Academy explaining this.

Parents who meet the criteria (currently unemployed/receiving benefits) can apply to the Academy for a uniform grant.
