A-Level Results Day, 13th August - Information for Students

Dear Students and Parents,

Firstly, I hope that you and your family are all safe and well during these difficult times. We realise that the last few months have been hard for both students and parents as you have risen to the challenge of online learning and the cancellation of your exams. I could not be prouder of the hard work and dedication year 13s have shown to their work and their resilience throughout this crisis. We believe that the tenacity that they have shown during this period will set them up well for their future destinations and we are really looking forward to welcoming them back on the 13th August 2020 for A-Level Results Day between 9:00am-12:00pm.

A-level Results Day will take place at the academy. Students are welcome to come and collect their results and say goodbye to their teachers from 9am until 12:00pm.

Throughout the results day strict social distancing measures will take place. The Academy has taken numerous measures to ensure that the risk of transmission of Covid-19 is at an absolute minimal. To view the measures that have been put in place and the steps you will need to take upon entering the school, please visit our guide to reopening for Year 10 students. We will be limiting the number of pupils inside the school and a queuing system will be in place on results day.

During results day we will have several teachers on hand to support you with your university applications and future destinations. Should you not get the results you are hoping for, please feel rest assured that we will be on hand to support you through the UCAS clearing process.

We are very much looking forward to welcoming you back to the academy for the last time. Until then, we hope that you have a fantastic summer and a well-deserved rest.

Yours sincerely,

Mr James Farrell, Assistant Principal – Sixth Form

Mr Thomas Bass, Year Lead – Year 13
