Pupil Premium Spend
What is the Pupil Premium?
The Pupil Premium is additional funding given to publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers.
In the 2017 to 2018 financial year, like all secondary schools, Harris Academy Battersea will receive £935 for each child registered as eligible for Free School Meals at any point in the last 6 years. Schools will also receive £1,900 for each looked after pupil who:
Has been looked after for 1 day or more;
Was adopted from care on or after 30th December 2005, or left care under a special guardianship order or a residence order.
What is Harris Academy Battersea’s Pupil Premium allocation?
The school will receive approximately £500K this year although the exact figure will not be available until January 2018
