Welcome to the Sixth Form

Welcome to Harris Academy Battersea Sixth Form, a vibrant World Class Sixth Form that is driven by high aspirations and successful outcomes for all our students.

Harris Academy Battersea is consistently the best performing Sixth Form in Wandsworth and one of the top sixth forms in London.

Rated OFSTED Outstanding (January 2018), our supportive Sixth Form develops aspirational young people to thrive in a changing world through our core values of knowledge, integrity and resilience.

We have high aspirations for all students and combined with a culture of academic rigour throughout the Sixth Form our students achieve success in whichever endeavour they choose.

Strong results

Our Year 13 results were extremely strong with students averaging a B grade. Eighty-three per cent of our students have gone on to further study at university with two securing places at the University of Oxford.

We have a fantastic track record of supporting students to get into Russell Group Universities, with 40% of students going to these universities in our last year 13 cohort. The remainder also secured excellent opportunities through employment or apprenticeships. Two students went on to study in Dubai and the USA.

We work in partnership with our students to ensure a supportive and focused environment. Through outstanding pastoral care, expert teaching and the hard work of our students, we ensure that all our students achieve success.

Explore your interests

Sixth Form is also an opportunity for students to explore interests and get a taste of life beyond the classroom. Through our comprehensive enrichment programme, we develop our students holistically and enable them to explore their interests, take a leading role within the school and support our younger students as role models.

We also develop our aspirational students through a comprehensive work experience programme, to develop their career awareness and experience in industries; we ensure students have the chance to discover their passions and the future pathways open to them.

We have a broad curriculum offer in our inclusive Sixth Form and offer A-levels and vocational courses to cater for all passions and aspirations. Please contact us if you have any questions or to arrange a visit.

"The staff at the school are dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for all its students; we have the highest aspirations for all our young people and will continue to strive for excellence year on year."  Paula Leigh, Principal.
