Dhuhr Prayers at Harris Battersea during Ramadan

Dhuhr Prayers at Harris Battersea during Ramadan

Celebrating Ramadan at HABS

At Harris Academy Battersea, Ramadan is a special time for reflection, community, and togetherness. In previous years, we have celebrated in a variety of ways, including daily reminders during tutor time, assemblies, and congregational prayers. Last year, we were proud to host our first HABS Iftar for sixth form girls, marking a wonderful moment of connection and celebration.

This year, we continue to build on that tradition. Students have the opportunity to come together for daily Dhuhr prayers in the Main Hall, fostering a sense of reflection and community throughout the month. These activities provide an important space for spiritual reflection and shared experiences, reinforcing the inclusive and supportive ethos of our school.

We also look forward to our upcoming Iftar on 17th March, celebrating the values of community, generosity, and togetherness that are at the heart of Ramadan.

Ramadan at HABS is a time for students to connect, reflect, and celebrate their faith, while also enriching our school community as a whole.
