HABS Press Club Wins Top Award for Local News Reporting

The HABS Press Club has been recognised for excellence in journalism, winning the award for Best Local News Reporting as part of the “Welcome to Wandsworth” journalism project. The competition featured over 12 schools from across the borough, making this achievement a remarkable testament to the skill, dedication, and creativity of the student journalists.

The project encourages secondary school students to explore local stories, engage with their community, and develop real-world reporting skills. Members of the HABS Press Club showcased outstanding reporting, interviewing, and storytelling, earning them top honours among their peers.
