HABS Basketball Teams Make a Great Start!

A huge congratulations to our younger HABS girls’ and boys’ basketball teams on their performances over the past week!

The girls got their season underway last week with a fixture against John Bosco. Although they narrowly missed out on victory, losing 21–27, it was a fantastic experience, particularly for some of our Year 7 and 8 students who were playing their first competitive game.

The boys followed yesterday, taking to our new court for their match against John Bosco. They delivered a convincing performance, securing an impressive 48–21 victory for HABS!

A special well done to Suha and Ashadieeyah on playing their first game for the girls’ team. Congratulations also to Ahmed, Rayyan and Rafael for their contributions to the boys’ victory.

Well done to everyone involved. We are incredibly proud of you!
