Celebrating Attendance Success This Half Term!

This half term, we have been celebrating the students who have achieved 100% attendance! Their commitment to being in school every day is a fantastic achievement, and we are incredibly proud of them.

There has been a real buzz around attendance across the Academy, with students getting involved and talking about the importance of being in school. Today’s celebrations were a particular highlight, with students thoroughly enjoying the bouncy castles! It was also fantastic to hear students asking what they could do to achieve 100% attendance next time. This enthusiasm shows that we are building the positive culture around attendance that we want to see.

We have plenty to celebrate. Our attendance has been higher this half term than at the same point last year, which is a fantastic achievement for the whole Academy community.

Good attendance is about much more than simply being in school. Being present every day gives students the best possible opportunity to learn, make progress, achieve strong GCSE outcomes and access future opportunities. We want every student to feel supported, encouraged and motivated to attend school regularly.
