Congratulating Harris Academy Battersea’s Class of 2026

Our Year 13 students were delighted to collect their A Level results and have secured dozens of high-quality university places and apprenticeships.

Among those celebrating are Kareem, Zhien and Lina, all of whom are heading into careers and degrees where they will be helping others:

• Kareem, with A*A*B in Psychology, Sociology and History, is joining the Mayor of London's office as a Violence Reduction Officer. He has deferred a university place until 2027 and is still looking at apprenticeships in law and insurance. He joined the sixth form late in Year 12 and, having missed around six weeks of education, taught himself the content he had missed. He has worked two part-time jobs alongside his A Levels ever since.
• Zhien, with AABB in Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Psychology, is taking up a place for Medicine. Set on a career in healthcare, she has completed placements at a GP practice and with an NHS Trust, volunteers with the Police Cadets and is first aid trained through St John Ambulance.
• Lina with A*A*AB in Further Maths, Maths, Chemistry and Biology is taking up a place at the Royal Veterinary College, University of London, to study Bioveterinary Sciences. Her hard work, determination and passion for the biological sciences have earned her a place at one of the world’s leading specialist institutions for veterinary education and research
