Year 7 ‘Meet the Team’ Evening

We are delighted to invite all Year 7 parents and carers to our Year 7 ‘Meet the Team’ Evening on Thursday 8 October.
The transition from primary to secondary school is a significant milestone for students and their families. We hope this evening will provide a valuable opportunity to meet the staff who work closely with your child, hear about how Year 7 students have settled into life at Harris Academy Battersea, and find out more about their progress and experiences so far.
The evening will also provide an opportunity to meet other parents and carers, ask questions, share feedback and access support where needed.

Year 7 Presentation
The Assistant Principal and Year 7 Pastoral Lead will share:
- Highlights from the students’ first half term at HABS
- Key information and data about the year group
- Important updates and reminders
- Exciting opportunities available to Year 7 students
17:20–17:40 | Tutor Group Rooms
Form Tutor Presentations & Q&A
Parents and carers will have the opportunity to meet their child’s Form Tutor, hear key updates and ask any questions about their child’s experience so far.
17:40–18:00 | Library
Refreshments, Parent/Carer Networking & Support
Join us for refreshments and an opportunity to meet other parents and carers. There will also be a ParentPay and My Child At School (MCAS) Support Clinic for anyone who would like assistance.
Year 7 Reminders – Homework & Logins
We would also like to remind families of the following:
- All students should now have received their computer logins and homework logins for Sparx, Language Nut and Bedrock. If your child has not received any of these, please ask them to speak to their relevant subject teacher.
- The three online Year 7 homework activities are due every Thursday at 9pm.
- If you would like your child to attend Homework Club or use the school computers in the library after school, please let us know.
