Year 7 admissions

Harris Academy Battersea will admit 180 students each year. We have 180 places in Year 7 in September 2026 and welcome students of all abilities and from all backgrounds.

Applications for places will be made in accordance with local authority admission arrangements and will be made on the Common Application Form provided and administered by the local authority. The Academy will work to the common admissions timetable agreed by Wandsworth Council. Admissions must be made via Wandsworth Council only and not directly to Harris Academy Battersea. Your application must be received by 31st October 2025.

The Local Authority notifies parents about successful applications to Secondary School on 2nd March 2026. Appeals must be submitted by 20th  April 2026. All appeals received by this date will be heard between 18th May and 19th June 2026, excluding half term. Appellants will be notified of their appeal hearing at least 10 school days in advance. The Clerk will send appeal papers to parents, the panel, and the admission authority at least 7 working days before the hearing. Any additional evidence must be submitted by 8:00am, 3 working days before the appeal hearing. Decision letters will be sent to appellants within 5 school days of the appeal hearing, where possible.

Once a place at the academy has been offered, parents/carers will receive an email with a link to complete the HABS Secondary Admissions Student Data Collection Form.
