PLEASE RETWEET: with 36,000 families at our schools in London and Essex, we want to supply food parcels for those in need (on top of free school meals which we’re already doing). We’ll fully fund this but URGENTLY need a supermarket chain to help.

A huge thank you to Steve Nine Elms in for giving us some free Easter eggs for our staff at the end of a very challenging week. We greatly appreciate the work you and your colleagues are doing at this time.

Transition - Information for Parents

This section is for parents and carers of our students starting in September 2020. It will provide you with useful tips and information to help you and your child make a successful transition to HAB.

Click here to see our page for Year 6 students.

LeighDear Year 6 Parents and Carers,

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to Harris Academy Battersea.

These extraordinary times call for a change in the way that traditionally our Year 6 transition is done. This section of our website is designed to provide you with all of the information that will help your child make a smooth transition to Harris Academy Battersea for the 2020/21 academic year.

You’ll find all the things you need to be ready to start school in September. There’ll be lots of information and videos to make students feel at home along with challenges to complete while they are not in school.

Year 6 students will be excited to start but maybe a little nervous about how secondary school is different to your primary school. Not to worry, this is a perfectly natural way to feel.

It is important that both parents and students feel supported and informed through the transition to secondary school. If you have any queries, please do email the school at, with 'Transition' as the subject, and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

Kind regards,

Miss Leigh, Principal
