Dear Year 6 Parents and Carers,
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to Harris Academy Battersea.
These extraordinary times call for a change in the way that traditionally our Year 6 transition is done. This section of our website is designed to provide you with all of the information that will help your child make a smooth transition to Harris Academy Battersea for the 2020/21 academic year.
You’ll find all the things you need to be ready to start school in September. There’ll be lots of information and videos to make students feel at home along with challenges to complete while they are not in school.
Year 6 students will be excited to start but maybe a little nervous about how secondary school is different to your primary school. Not to worry, this is a perfectly natural way to feel.
It is important that both parents and students feel supported and informed through the transition to secondary school. If you have any queries, please do email the school at admissions@harrisbattersea.org.uk, with 'Transition' as the subject, and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
Kind regards,
Miss Leigh, Principal
