Students in Years 7–11 wear a smart and tidy uniform. The main colours, black and moss green, were chosen by students. Our logo/crest was designed by them too, as part of an art competition.
In addition to the standard items of uniform:

Further visual clarification can be found below:
For PE lessons each week students must have:
Students must not wear as part of their PE kit:
Students who do not wear appropriate PE kit will not be able to participate in PE and may recieve a sanction.
Students should have a school bag and may wear appropriate headwear (plain black hats or a black, white or Olive Green headscarf).
However, there are various items that should not be worn or carried. The list of these can be seen below:
School Uniform Direct, Harris Academy Battersea’s official school uniform supplier, has partnered with oldschooluniform.co.uk to offer parents the opportunity to purchase, request and recycle pre-loved uniforms as part of their focus on sustainability and affordability. See image below for more details.
We are also recycling uniform and asking former Year 11 students to donate their branded items for re-issue to students within the Academy. Please contact info@harrisbattersea.org.uk for further enquiries.
Being ready for learning is an essential prerequisite for a successful year, and therefore it is essential that every student has all of their school equipment from the first day.
Equipment checks will be conducted weekly by tutors, and in every lesson by teachers. The Academy’s equipment list can be found below:
The Academy operates a not seen, not heard, not used, switched off approach to Mobile phones (and any similar devices including Smart Watches) on site.
These items must be fully away and not seen at all during the school day, and should be switched off on arrival Students must not use these devices anywhere on the school site. The Academy will confiscate phones and related 'Smart' items if they are seen, heard, or used.
