Information for parents of internal candidates

It is important to understand the Sixth Form options and future choices of your child. To help guide this important transition in child’s lives, we have created a guide to help you.

This guide has been designed to provide everything you need to know to help support your child to make the best choices at Key Stage 5 and to enable a smooth transition to Sixth Form.

After completing the guide and the corresponding videos through MS Teams, we have asked your son/daughter to complete a questionnaire on their future destination and options choices.

Once your child has completed this form, we will be arranging a course guidance meeting with them and a member of the Sixth Form team. These meetings will aim to help support your child’s decisions and answer any questions they may have. 

After these meetings we will extend an offer to continue to study at Harris Academy Battersea in the Sixth Form, on condition that your child makes the minimum entry requirement for the Sixth Form, which can be found on our subject information page.
