Unclear where to start?

Have a look at the timeline above, and see what you should be completing.

What to do before your week of virtual work experience?

Once you’ve completed your work personality questionnaire, submitted industry preferences and created a CV there are lots of resources that you can browse to help you explore careers or learn more about a specific career.

What to do during your week of virtual work experience?

  • Every morning your will receive a daily planner with links to each activity
  • Time that you aren’t scheduled for a specific event is when you are meant to work on your elevator pitch (from the brief you received on day one)
  • Teachers will be on hand to support, so please don’t hesitate to ask them

Not enough space on my phone to download the app?

There are benefits to using the app, but if you cannot download it the work will be sent to you directly via email, so you can still complete your virtual work experience.

The live link doesn’t work

Don’t panic, in most instances, shutting down and restarting will solve the problem. If this doesn’t work, please email Changing Education at, and they will be on hand to fix this for you.

You miss a session due to unforeseen circumstances

Again, don’t panic, all the sessions are recorded, and you will have the option of catching up on any talks and interactions that you missed on demand.
