Today marks the last day of Anti-Bullying Week, and we’re learning how to recognise when someone might be experiencing bullying. Look out for changes in mood, behaviour, confidence, or friendships and always speak to a trusted adult if you’re worried about someone.

Imperial Trip for Physics

Year 13 Students studying Physics at Harris Battersea had the opportunity to visit Imperial College London, one of the UK’s leading research universities and a member of the Russell Group. The aim of the trip was to enhance the academic opportunities offered by HABS and to inspire the students to pursue higher education in their chosen fields.

Students were divided into practical working groups.

The students had the chance to interact with Imperial staff and students, giving them a glimpse of what life at university would be like. The students also had the chance during lunch to visit various facilities, such as the library, the sports centre, the student union, and the accommodation.

The trip to Imperial was a valuable and enjoyable experience for the Year 13 students, as it exposed them to a world-class university and motivated them to pursue their academic and career goals. The trip also enhanced the students’ skills and confidence in research, communication, and teamwork. The school would like to thank Imperial for hosting the trip and for providing the students with this opportunity.20231211 151440
