HABS celebrates fantastic A level successes
Following a brilliant set of A Level results at Harris Academy Battersea today, many students will be moving on to study their chosen subjects at top universities.
We have seen particularly impressive results in Mathematics, with almost half the cohort gaining an A* or A grade in the subject.
Two students also achieved the top A* grade in Further Maths, including Jayden Truong, who obtained A*, A*, A grades in Maths, Further Maths and Physics respectively and will be heading to Bath University to pursue a Mathematics degree.
Other sparkling individual successes include:
- Yasmine Riane, who has secured A*, A, A grades in English Literature, Politics and Spanish respectively and will be attending the University of York to study Social and Political Sciences;
- Alisha Fraser, who gained three A grades in Economics, Maths and Geography and will be continuing her Geography studies at the London School of Economics;
- Mariana Silva, who obtained three A grades in History, Politics and Maths, and is going on to study Politics at London School of Economics.
Charlie Comerford, Head of Academy said:
"We are delighted that our students' continued hard work has translated into such an excellent set of A Level results. I have every confidence that our students will thrive at their chosen universities, and I wish them the very best of luck in the future."
