Today marks the last day of Anti-Bullying Week, and we’re learning how to recognise when someone might be experiencing bullying. Look out for changes in mood, behaviour, confidence, or friendships and always speak to a trusted adult if you’re worried about someone.

Careers Fair, Thursday 10th March - Find Out More

It's National Careers Week and HABS is celebrating in style with a 6th Form Open Evening and Careers Fair this Thursday 10th March, 4-7pm.

At the Careers Fair there will be a number of universities, providers and professionals with whom the students can have one-to-one conversations. All years are invited as it is never too early to start thinking about your career!

HABS careersStudents will be given a full attendee list and worksheet to download so they can prepare ahead of the event, and make sure they do not miss out on anyone who they really want to talk to.

Click HERE to download the attendee list.

To develop our students to be aspirational young people that thrive in this changing world, HABS has ensured the professionals represent a variety of industries and pathways, so there will be something for everyone.

Furthermore, the professionals are at various stages in their career to showcase that it is a journey, and nothing to be afraid of, which is in keeping with this year's focus of the National Careers Week.

National Careers week this year is all around HOPE with a focus on wellbeing, as it is common that looking to the future can cause stress for some young people sometimes. For this reason, at the Careers Fair there will be people at various stages in their career to show how it is a journey.
