On Tuesday evening staff and Sixth Form students came together for a heartwarming Christmas celebration filled with food, reflection, music, and festive cheer. The evening began with a delicious spread of food generously donated by staff and students.

Sports Day 2022 - Report & Pictures

The much-awaited annual Sports Day was held on 14th-15th July 2022, with every PE class in each year group taking each other on to win the Sports Day Cup.

Day one began with Years 7 and 10, followed the next day by Years 8 and 9. As students entered the PE arena, they were welcomed by DJ Miss Bowen and MC Mr Boulter to get them into the sprit of the day, with a variety of motivational shouts and chart bangers.

Students had to take part in several sports including, football, netball and basketball and it was amazing to see the levels of resilience, integrity and knowledge on display. Highlights of the day included:

  • Seeing the delight on 7A's faces as they won their first ever sports day by one point.
  • Mark James in Year 8 scoring the best goal on HABS Astroturf that anyone has ever seen, in the shape of a bicycle kick
  • the number of students competing in netball in Year 9 and Year 10, and having a fantastic attitude to sports day, as if it were their very first!

The winners from each year group were 7A, 8C, 9B and 10A2 - they can all be seen below!
