Today marks the last day of Anti-Bullying Week, and we’re learning how to recognise when someone might be experiencing bullying. Look out for changes in mood, behaviour, confidence, or friendships and always speak to a trusted adult if you’re worried about someone. Video

Of special mention are the fantastic results achieved by Naim-Jordan Mckenzie-Pryce, who after suffering an accident resulting in life-changing injuries and missingIMG 0105 all of Year 10 and half of Year 11, achieved an exceptional 6 in English, 5 in Maths and 5 in French. Naim-Jordan’s resilience and fortitude has been truly inspirational since his return to the Academy in early 2025.

Principal Charlie Comerford praised Year 11’s achievements, saying:

“We are extremely proud of our students and all they have achieved. These results are the outcome of years of resilience and dedication, and show what can be accomplished when determination and excellent teaching come together. We are especially pleased to see so many of our students securing the grades needed to progress onto their next steps with confidence. Many will be staying here at our outstanding Sixth Form and we’re excited to see what they achieve next.

I’d like to praise the commitment of staff and families in supporting our students through their Key Stage 4 studies. The Academy's mission is to enable our students to thrive in a changing world. Following our exceptional A level results last week, these results are once again clear evidence that students thrive at HABS!”
