HMRC came in to host an informative workshop for our Sixth Form students. Victoria and Jonny, from HMRC, explained what the tax system does and what the social implications are. It is great to develop life skills, such as this, with our students!

On Tuesday evening staff and Sixth Form students came together for a heartwarming Christmas celebration filled with food, reflection, music, and festive cheer. The evening began with a delicious spread of food generously donated by staff and students.

Today marks the last day of Anti-Bullying Week, and we’re learning how to recognise when someone might be experiencing bullying. Look out for changes in mood, behaviour, confidence, or friendships and always speak to a trusted adult if you’re worried about someone. Video

    Basketball Success!

    This week, the Year 9 & 10 girls’ and boys’ teams had a fixture against Bacon’s College. We finished 1–1 overall. The girls lost by a small margin; however, they dug deep, showed great character, and, importantly, everyone got playing time, which reflects our ethos. The boys secured a convincing win, taking it 16–56.

    There will be many more fixtures next year and, when we have our new sports hall, I would love to see the HABS family out in full force supporting our amazing young people.

    A big shout-out to Samuel, who earned MVP for the boys, and Riana from the girls’ side.
