PE is a practical subject where students can learn skills and knowledge through practical situations, activities and sports.
The curriculum intent is to develop healthy, physically literate individuals, who are confident to perform at their personal best in a variety of situations. The health and activity levels of young people is of vital importance. In PE, students will learn the basics of what constitutes a healthy, active lifestyle including the importance of mental and social health. They will get the opportunity to participate in a variety of different activities in a hope they will find a genuine love of one in which they can become lifelong participants.
