Exam Results 2018-19

Students and staff at Harris Academy Battersea celebrated another year of examination success when the latest results were announced in August 2019.

Our Progress 8 is provisionally calculated to be an extraordinary +0.9, meaning students at Harris Battersea do almost one grade better than students at schools with similar intakes.


Key statistics for Key Stage 4

The following results are provisional and based on our exam results for 2018-19, announced in August 2019.

  • Our Progress 8 score is +0.9
  • Our Attainment 8 score is 54.36
  • 53% of students achieved Grade 5 or above in English and Maths
  • 72% of students achieved Grade 4 or above in English and Maths
  • 77% of students entered the EBacc, with 42% achieving it.

83% of students achieved a GCSE Grade 4 or higher in English, and 74% did so in Maths.

97% of students stayed in education or employment.


Key Stage 5

Equally, Year 13 results were extremely strong with students averaging a B grade. Eighty three per cent of our students have gone on to further study at university with two securing places at the University of Oxford. The remainder also secured excellent opportunities through employment or apprenticeships.
